(TOWNSHIP OF GEORGIAN BLUFFS, ON) – On Friday, November 7, 2014 at approximately 12:50 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrested a driver in connection to a fail to remain motor vehicle collision investigation which had occurred on Thursday, November 6th in the Township of Georgian Bluffs.
At approximately 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 6, 2014, the accused was operating a motor vehicle when he failed to stop at the posted stop sign at the intersection of Somers Street and 27th Street West. After colliding with another vehicle, the accused left the scene. He was identified, which lead to his arrest.
Jason CLARK, age 26, of the Township of Georgian Bluffs, has been charged with the following offences:
– Disobey Stop Sign – Fail to Stop
– Fail to Remain
– Operate a Motor Vehicle without Insurance
– Use Plates not Authorized for Vehicle
– Possession of Marihuana – Under 30 grams
He is scheduled to appear in court in Owen Sound on December 12, 2014.
