Jason CHRISJOHN – Drunk Driving

(ONEIDA NATION OF THE THAMES FIRST NATION, ON) – On August 29, 2015 at approximately 10:44 p.m., the Oneida Nation of the Thames First Nation Police were alerted to a possible impaired driver travelling westbound on Littlewoods Drive, in Middlesex Centre, Ontario.

Police located the motor vehicle, a green Honda car, travelling eastbound on Oneida Road, and conducted a traffic stop. Officers determined that the male driver had been drinking alcohol. He was placed under arrest, and transported to a Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) detachment for breath testing.

As a result of the investigation, 44-year-old Jason CHRISJOHN, from Oneida Nation of the Thames First Nation, Ontario, has been charged with driving while ability impaired – motor vehicle (alcohol), and driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in blood, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

The accused was released from police custody by way of a Promise to Appear (PTA), and is scheduled to answer the charges in a London court on October 13, 2015.
