(NORTH MIDDLESEX, ON) – On June 24, 2016, at approximately 5:07 p.m., the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a motor vehicle stop on McGuffin Hills Drive, near Grand Bend Road.
Officers determined that the 38-year-old male driver of the red Honda all-terrain vehicle (ATV) had been drinking alcohol. A roadside screening device was administered, and the driver registered a “fail”. He was placed under arrest, and transported to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for further breath testing.
As a result of the police investigation, Jason BOWMAN, from North Middlesex, Ontario, has been charged with driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in blood, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused was released from police custody by way of a Promise to Appear (PTA), and is scheduled to answer the charge in a London court on July 25, 2016.
