Jarrid James BALCOM – Impaired Driving

(WARWICK TWP, ON) – On July 25, 2018 at approximately 5:15 p.m., the Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to an erratic driving complaint on Nauvoo Road, Warwick Township, Ontario.

Soon after the complaint was communicated the motor vehicle in question left the travelled portion of the roadway, entered the ditch and struck a hydro pole at which time the driver fled on foot. A short time after the OPP arrived at the collision scene, a search for the driver was initiated. Within a short period of time, the driver was located on private property hiding behind a motor vehicle.

As a result of the investigation, the OPP arrested and charged Jarrid James BALCOM, 27-years-of-age of Thedford, Ontario for the alleged offence of Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle by Drug. He must appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on August 13, 2018 in order to address the allegation.
