Jamie Gary Filion Awoken By Police For Impaired Charge

(TOWNSHIP OF ESSA) – On Monday, October 16th, 2015 at approximately 12:30 am, a member of the Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), had occasion to check a vehicle parked on the shoulder of the 5th Line of Essa at Gold Park Road.

As our Officer was approaching the vehicle he observed a male person in the driver’s seat. The male appeared to be sleeping. After a repeated knock on the window the male rolled down the driver’s window and our officer immediately smelled a strong odour of alcohol. After further investigation, a 30 year old male was charged with Care and Control of a motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol.

Jamie Gary Filion, of County Road 27, Williamstown, Ontario, will make a Court appearance at a later date.
