(CENTRE WELLINGTON TOWNSHIP, ON) – On August 14, 2016 at approximately 6:35 p.m., a Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer was monitoring traffic on Wellington Road 7 near David Street, Centre Wellington Township. The officer observed a male driving a 2013 Chevrolet well above the 50 km/h speed limit. The vehicle was locked on radar at approximately 103 km/h.
His driver’s licence and vehicle were seized for a period of 7 days as per statute.
