(CENTRE WELLINGTON TOWNSHIP, ON) – On October 26, 2014 at approximately 3:05 a.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were patrolling the Town of Fergus and observed a 2014 Volkswagen speeding along St. David Street North, Fergus. Police spoke with the driver and believed he was under the influence of alcohol.
He was arrested and transported to an OPP Operations Centre.
The driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and vehicle impounded for seven days as per statute.
James TOCCALINO age 32 from Fergus has been charged with Impaired Driving and Over 80 contrary to the Criminal Code. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on November 7, 2014 to answer to the charges.
