(CENTRE WELLINGTON TOWNSHIP, ON) – On November 15, 2015 at approximately 10:30 p.m. members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Traffic Management Unit (TMU) investigated the driver of a 2010 Nissan on Bricker Avenue in Elora, Centre Wellington Township.
Investigation revealed that the driver was operating a motor vehicle while disqualified from driving contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. Further investigation revealed that he was also operating a motor vehicle without insurance and was suspended from driving.
39-year-old James ROCHE of Elora has been charged with Drive While Disqualified contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada, Drive While Under Suspension, Drive Motor Vehicle No Currently Validated Permit, Use Validation Not Furnished For the Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act and Operate Motor Vehicle No Insurance contrary to the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on December 18, 2015 to answer to his charges.
