(COUNTY OF BRANT, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) County of Brant Detachment has charged a 39 year old male after police stopped a vehicle on Hwy 403 after they attempted to stop the same vehicle on Rest Acres road and the driver fled from police.
On Thursday, May 28, 2015, at approximately midnight, police were conducting patrols in the area of Rest acres Road, when a vehicle attracted an officer’s attention. Police attempted to stop the vehicle which entered Highway 403 east bound. The vehicle was stopped in the construction zone near Paris road and the driver was arrested.
As a result of investigation, police arrested and charged 39 year old James Neeve, of the County of Brant, Ontario with driving over the legal limit, Dangerous driving, Flight from police all contrary to the Criminal code of Canada.
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Brantford at a later date to answer to the charge
