(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Norfolk County Detachment have charged a 56 year old male after police responded to an incident at a Owen Street, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario, address.
On Monday, August 18, 2014 at approximately 9:00 a.m., police responded to an address after being contacted by a concerned citizen.
Through investigation it has been determined that the 56 year old male attended the address and became involved in a verbal altercation with four other individuals which then turned into a physical confrontation. During the incident a weapon was produced however no injuries were reported.
As a result of investigation, police arrested and charged 56 year old James HURLOCK of Cambridge, Ontario with uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm and assault with a weapon
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
