(LAKESHORE, ON)– The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a vehicle on Essex County Road 42 in Lakeshore for driving erratically on January 5, 2016 at approximately 11:20 p.m.
The vehicle, a black Dodge pickup was observed westbound on Essex County Road 42 just west of Puce Road when it was stopped. Officers spoke to the male driver of the vehicle who was not the registered owner. He exhibited signs of impairment and was issued a Roadside Screening Device demand, which he failed. Investigation revealed that he had taken the vehicle without permission from the registered owner.
James DEAN, age 30 of Windsor was arrested and charged with Exceed 80 Milligrams Blood Alcohol Content and Take Motor Vehicle Without Consent. He will appear in a Windsor court on January 19, 2016 to answer to the charges.
