On September 8, 2014 at 10:46 p.m. West Parry Sound OPP members were on patrol in McDougall Township on Nobel Road and checked a vehicle on the shoulder.
The officer noted the driver had the odour of alcohol on his breath and commenced an investigation as to his sobriety.
As a result of the investigation, a 24 year old Jacob HAMMOND of Carling Township was charged with care and control of a motor vehicle while over 80 mgs of alcohol contrary to section 253(b) of the Criminal Code. The male will appear in a Parry Sound Court on October 2, 2014.
