(TOWNSHIP OF SOUTHGATE, ON) – On November 21, 2016 at approximately 11:11 a.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a 2002 Ford pick-up truck for excessive speed on Hwy. 6 near Grey Rd. 6 in the Township of Southgate. The vehicle was travelling more than 50 km/hr over the posted 80 km/hr speed limit.
Jackson Jeffrey SKINNER, 18, of Brant County, was issued a Part III Summons for racing a motor vehicle – excessive speed contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. His driver’s licence was suspended and the vehicle impounded for seven days.
He is scheduled to appear in court in Owen Sound on January 9, 2017.
