At last night’s council meeting, council voted on by-law 24-2012. A by-law to authorize the Reeve and Clerk to sign on behalf of council a development agreement with the Avon Maitland School Board for the Maitland River Elementary School to be built.
This was that last step required before they could start construction. Only two people objected, Ray Hallahan and Brock Vodden. The rest of council voted in favor.
