(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH EAST, ON) On Monday September 12, 2011 shortly before 7 p.m., a Perth County OPP officer was patrolling the rural area north of Milverton in response to a call of suspicious activity in that location. The officer observed a suspicious SUV on Line 67. The officer pulled over the vehicle and while speaking to the male driver detected the odour of freshly cut marihuana plants inside the SUV. A garbage bag filled with freshly cut cannabis marihuana was observed in the back of the SUV.
Robert Barber (31) of Kitchener was arrested and has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking
