(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment has charged a 21-year-old male after police stopped a motor vehicle at a Fairground Road, Houghton, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Wednesday, October 12, 2016, at approximately 3:10 p.m., police were conducting patrols in the area of Fairground Road, when a vehicle attracted the officer’s attention. The vehicle was subsequently stopped and investigated.
As a result of investigation, police have charged a 21-year-old Isaak MARTENS of Norfolk County, Ontario with operate unsafe vehicle, drive motor vehicle-plates improperly displayed, fail to apply for permit on becoming owner, driver motor vehicle-no currently validated permit and operate motor vehicle without insurance.
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
