The Barrie Police Service was kept busy with St. Patricks Day activities, traditions and debauchery. Officers arrested 8 males for being intoxicated in a public place who were not able to care for themselves. Many others were sent home in taxis or had friends volunteer to ensure those who had consumed alcohol to excess were taken home safely.
