Intoxicated Male Walks Into Stranger’s Home

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Norfolk County Detachment was contacted by a concerned homeowner at a North Main Street, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario, address.

On Saturday, April 25, 2015 at approximately 2:53 a.m., police were contacted by a concerned homeowner after an unknown male entered their residence.

Through investigation it was determined that a 22 year old male entered the residence and proceeded to the downstairs area of the home and sat on a couch. The resident immediately contacted police and then woke up family members who left the residence.

As a result of investigation, police located an intoxicated male and subsequently removed him from the home.

Police have charged 22 year old Samual HOOVER of Norfolk County, Ontario with enter premise when entry prohibited contrary to the Trespass to Property Act.

Police are reminding all homeowners to ensure that all doors and windows are secured in order to prevent anyone from gaining access to your residence.
