Barrie Police working in the downtown core observed a drunken male on Dunlop Street just prior to 1am. The 27 year old man was unsteady on his feet and wasn’t in a position to look after himself. He was quite vocal with police and was arrested for being intoxicated in public. He was transported to the police station and remained in custody for his own safety until sober. He was released with a Provincial Offences fine to pay.
