Intoxicated Female Tracked Down By K9

(HUNTSVILLE, ON) On Saturday May 9, 2015 just before 5:00pm Huntsville Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was made aware of a 38 year old female that had walked into the bush on Britannia Rd in the town of Huntsville and family could not locate her. The family contacted the OPP looking for assistance in locating her.

Huntsville OPP along with Muskoka K-9 and Emergency Response Team (ERT) members attended the area in search of the missing Huntsville female. Just after 7:00pm the female was located just off the road in the bush area by the K-9 and ERT.

Investigation found that the female was intoxicated and was refusing any assistance from the police officers. As a result Leah STUCKLESS (38yrs) of Huntsville was arrested. The arrest lead to the accused being charged with intoxicated in a public place under the Liquor Licence Act, Possession of a Schedule I substance believed to be Cocaine, under the Controlled Drug and Substances Act, along with Resist Peace Officer and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5000.00 under the Criminal Code of Canada.

The accused will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on June 30, 2015 to answer to her charges.
