Barrie Police are reminding residents to be mindful of possible frauds when posting their emails on the internet.
In one example, a website commonly used to buy/sell or rent items has been targeted by internet fraudsters.
The suspects will reply to an email and attempt to arrange a exchange that is simply too good to pass up.
In addition the suspects are often from oversea countries and will only communicate via email.
These are strong indicators of frauds and urge residents to use commons sense when dealing in these matters.
