Injured Cyclist Facing Charges

(RIPLEY, ON) – On October 31, 2013 at 11:09 am, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of an injured cyclist on Park Street in Ripley. Officers arrived and located a male cyclist with cuts on his head. He was taken to hospital for assessment of non-life threatening injuries. The man had been riding with open alcohol and he was found to be in possession of illegal drugs. 43 year old Alan HUTCHINSON of Huron-Kinloss Township has been charged with Possession of a controlled substance and Open liquor other than residence, licenced premise or private place. He is scheduled to appear in court on December 16, 2013 to answer to the charges.
