On the 24th of October 2014 an Officer from the Barrie Police Service was in the downtown area when he observed a female operating a motor vehicle who had stopped for a green light.
The Officer followed the female for a short distance and he observed her almost hit the center median. The Officer stopped the vehicle and spoke with the female who exhibited signs of impairment.
The Officer arrested the female for impaired operation of a motor vehicle.
She was transported back to the Barrie Police Station where she blew 2 1/2 times over the legal limit.
She was later released with a future court date.
