Impaired Driver/ Hit And Run

IMPAIRED DRIVER CHARGED

(North Dundas) – On June 11, 2015 at approximately 2:24am, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers intercepted a vehicle on South Street, North Dundas Township. The stop revealed that the adult female driver was under the influence of alcohol.

Brittany WHITTINGTON (21) of Ottawa, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;

– Driving a Motor Vehicle while Impaired by Alcohol

– Driving a Motor Vehicle with More than 80 Milligram of Alcohol in Blood

– Fail to Comply with a Probation Order

She was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Morrisburg on June 25, 2015.

FAIL TO REMAIN AT COLLISION

(North Dundas) – On June 10, 2015 at approximately 5:45pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a two motor vehicle collision at the intersection of County Road 31 and 43, North Dundas Township. Investigation indicated that one of the vehicles involved had fled the scene. Officers located the suspect vehicle a short time later on Development Road. Two occupants in the other received minor injuries.

The male driver, Bruce MOODIE (22) of North Grenville, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;

– Fail to Stop at the Scene of an Accident

He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Morrisburg on August 4, 2015. He was not injured.
