(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment has charged a 38 year old female after police stopped a vehicle at a Homewood Avenue, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Sunday, April 26, 2015, at approximately 12:48 a.m., police were conducting patrols in the area of Oakwood Avenue when a vehicle attracted an officer’s attention. The vehicle was subsequently stopped and investigated.
As a result of investigation, police arrested and charged 38 year old Suzanne Marie KARNES of Norfolk County, Ontario with refuse to provide breath sample.
She is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charge.
“There will be zero tolerance for motorists driving aggressively, impaired by drugs or alcohol, distracted drivers or those who fail to buckle up. Driving safety is everyone’s responsibility and it starts before the vehicle is put into drive” comments Constable Ed Sanchuk, Norfolk County OPP.
