(TOWNSHIP OF CHATSWORTH, ON) – On Monday, November 9, 2015 at approximately 9:53 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a possible impaired driver on Hwy. 10 in the Township of Chatsworth. A concerned citizen called police after observing a Sport Utility Vehicle swerving all over the road at fluctuating speeds northbound on Hwy. 10.
Police stopped the suspect vehicle, a 2013 Cadillac, and found that the lone driver had been drinking alcohol. The driver was arrested for impaired driving and transported to the Chatsworth OPP Detachment for breath tests, which she failed.
49-year old, Debra HESS, of Bolton, Ontario, was charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over 80 milligrams. She is scheduled to appear in court in Owen Sound on December 3, 2015. Her licence was suspended and the vehicle was impounded for 7 days.
