(NORWICH TOWNSHIP, ON.) – On December 16, 2015 at approximately 11:35 p.m. Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a complaint of a vehicle travelling west on Highway 403 eastbound near Highway 53 in Norwich Township. The vehicle had swerved in oncoming traffic and had come to rest in the ditch.
There were no collisions and no injuries.
Police located the vehicle and as a result of investigation, the 44-year-old male, Michael PIGRAM of St. Thomas was charged under the Criminal Code with the following:
Care or Control While Impaired (Alcohol)
Fail or Refuse to Provide Sample
Dangerous Operation of Motor Vehicle
The male was released on a Promise to Appear at Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock on February 16, 2016.
