Impaired Driver Arrested Outside Real Police Detachment

(LONDON, ON) – On October 1, 2017 at approximately 5:20 a.m., a member of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) became engaged in a Highway Traffic Act (HTA) investigation on Exeter Road, near Bessemer Road, City of London. This is immediately in front of the London OPP Detachment.

Officers determined that the 36-year-old male driver of the vehicle had consumed alcohol. He was placed under arrest and transported to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for breath tests.

As a result of the police investigation, Brandon WILSON, of Woodstock, has been charged with Driving while ability impaired and refusing to provide a breath sample pursuant to the Criminal Code of Canada (CCC).

The vehicle the accused was driving has been seized for 7 days and his driver’s licence suspended for 90 days.

The accused was released on a Promise to Appear (PTA) and is scheduled to answer the charges in a London court on November 9, 2017.
