(ADJALA-TOSORONTIO TOWNSHIP) – On Saturday, April 1, 2017, at approximately 5:00 pm, members of the Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were notified of a single motor vehicle collision involving an ATV. The collision occurred on the Sunnidale-Tosorontio Town Line within the Township of Adjala-Tosorontio.
When officers arrived at the collision, the 27 year old male driver from Innisfil was investigated for Impaired Driving and was subsequently arrested
As a result of the collision, he was transported to hospital where he sustained non-life threatening injuries after the ATV rolled on top of him
After further investigation, Alan DERMOTT was charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle and over 80mgs of Alcohol per 100 Millilitres of Blood. His driver’s license was suspended for 90 days and his ATV was impounded for 7 days.
He was released on a Promise to Appear and will attend a future court date at the Bradford Court of Justice.
