Sunday, October 19th 2014, at approximately 1:33a.m., Waterloo Regional Police Service were called to Guerin Avenue, Kitchener after a motor vehicle struck a utility pole. Upon arrival, the driver was arrested for a suspected alcohol offence. The driver, a 36 year old male Kitchener resident was charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Over 80 and Dangerous Driving. The involved motor vehicle was severely damaged. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident. The supply of electricty in the collision area was disrupted for a period of time.
