(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON.) – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Haldimand County detachment has charged a 23 year old male with a Drinking and Driving related offence after checking a vehicle on Sixth Line, Haldimand County, ON.
On Monday January 13th, 2014 at approximately 3:35 pm a grey 1998 GMC van was checked for a Highway Traffic Act violation. While the officer was speaking with the driver evidence of alcohol consumption was detected which lead to the driver being arrested.
Charged with Driving a Motor Vehicle with Over the Legal Limit of Alcohol is 23 year old James Mt. Pleasant of Six Nations of the Grand River First Nation. He is to appear in Provincial Court, Cayuga, ON at a later date to answer to the charge.
