Late Sunday night, a 43yr old Brampton resident was operating a motor vehicle on Dunlop St. W. when he was stopped regarding a routine Highway Traffic Act violation. The officer noticed the odour of an alcoholic beverage while speaking with the male and had him provide a roadside breath sample. The male failed and was arrested, he was taken to the police station where he failed two subsequent tests. The accused was charged with Drive Over 80mgs, he was later released by way of a promise to appear.
