Impaired driver

Barrie Police were called to a downtown LCBO for an intoxicated patron who had been refused service.

The male became belligerent and left the store and began walking to a nearby vehicle.

LCBO staff called Police and made attempts to stop the male from driving away.

Approximately two hours later, Police located the same male driving to the LCBO to purchase liquor.

The male was investigated by Police and arrested for impaired driving.

He was transported to the Barrie Police Service where he supplied breath samples almost twice the legal limit.

A 58 year old male is now facing a April Court date.
