Barrie Police were on routine patrol when they stopped a vehicle for a minor traffic offence.
The driver identified herself with an Ontario Drivers licence with a Toronto address.
Police conducted a check of the female and found she was wanted on an Immigration warrant issued from 2013.
Barrie Police arrested the 44 year old female and transported her to the Barrie Police Service.
Immigration Canada attended and will make arrangements to return the female to her native country of Columbia.
