(HURON EAST, ON) – Police are investigating the theft of a men’s black trifold wallet stolen from an unlocked sports utility vehicle. The motor vehicle was parked in the laneway at a Goderich Street East residence. The wallet was stolen sometime between the night of January 28, 2013 and the morning of January 29, 2013. Contained in the wallet were several pieces of government identification, including an Ontario Health Card, S.I.N card, Ontario Driver’s Licence and Birth Certificate.
Crime prevention is everyone’s business. Please do your part. Lock your vehicle, remove your keys and do not leave valuables in plain view. Park in a well-lit area at night. If you observe suspicious activity in your neighbourhood don’t hesitate to call police. A small piece of information may be the piece police need to solve a crime.
