Ice Strikes Vehicle Causing Damage

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County detachment investigated a motor vehicle collision at a Highway 59, Middleton, Norfolk County, Ontario address.

On Friday, February 17, 2017 at approximately 9:16 a.m., officers responded to a motor vehicle collision.

Through the course of investigation, it has determined that a vehicle was traveling on Highway 59 at 1st Concession Road STR and was following a delivery truck when a piece of ice flew off the top of the truck and struck the following vehicle.

The driver was able to safely stop their vehicle without becoming involved in a collision. Upon further inspection, it was determined that the front grill and fog lights on the vehicle sustained damaged.

No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.
