On Friday March 21 at approx. 10pm police received a driving complaint concerning a pick-up truck driving erratically on Highway 17 near O’Brien Rd. Provincial Constable Ryan Besner located the vehicle and stopped the male driver. The male was arrested for impaired driving and taken to the detachment for further breath tests. As a result Ian NESBITT 43 of Horton Township was charged with impaired driving, driving over 80mgs, driving a motor vehicle with open alcohol, driving a motor vehicle with no currently validated permit, and driving a motor vehicle with no insurance. He was released on a promise to appear in court in Renfrew on April 30.
