(KENORA, ON) – Members of the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a male with impaired driving after a single motor vehicle collision over the weekend.
On Saturday December 6, 2014 at approximately 11:30 pm, the OPP responded to a collision near Black Sturgeon Lake involving a dirt bike. The driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to the hospital.
Upon further investigation, it was determined the driver had consumed alcohol.
Hunter EDISON, age 22 of Dalles First Nation has been charged with Impaired Driving and Operating with more than .80mg of Alcohol in 100 ml of blood contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
He is to appear in court on January 22, 2015 to answer to the charges.
