(Kemptville, ON.) – Grenville County Ontario Provincial Police are investigating the discharge of a rifle that injured a local hunter.
Shortly after 2:30 p.m., the OPP was dispatched to a weapon discharge at 1935 County Road 43, North Grenville. A 23 year old local male was located in the bush with a shoulder wound.
The male was air lifted to the Ottawa Civic Hospital with a nonlife threatening injury.
Police do not suspect foul play and the investigation is ongoing.
