(NORTH BAY, ON) – The North Bay Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), under the direction of Detective Inspector Mark Zulinski of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB), is investigating found human remains on private property in Bonfield Township following a call received on October 9, 2016.
The search for the remains was completed on the evening of October 13, 2016 after OPP carried out a very methodical search through very dense and rugged terrain.
The remains were transported to the Northeast Region Forensic Pathology Unit in Sudbury where a post mortem exam will be conducted to assist in the positive identification on Monday, October 17, 2016
The investigation is ongoing and information will be released as it becomes available.
