(BANCROFT, ON) – On the 25th of August, 2016, in the late evening, officers from the Bancroft Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), conducted a traffic stop on a motor vehicle in the Township of Highlands East. When officers approached the vehicle, they determined that the driver of the motor vehicle had been consuming alcohol.
As a result of the investigation, Howard MACKAY, 53 years of age, from the township of Highlands East has been charged with over 80mgs of alcohol in 100mls of blood, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. The accused was released on a promise to appear to attend Bancroft court on September 20th, 2016 at 0830hrs.
