(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON.) – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County detachment and Haldimand County Fire Department responded to a house fire at a Morgan Drive, Caledonia, Haldimand County, ON address.
On Monday November 09th, 2015 at approximately 12:40 pm Emergency Services were called to a Morgan Dr. home after it had caught on fire. Upon arrival of the fire crews the house was fully engulfed in flames which had then spread to a neighbouring house. Both houses were destroyed by fire and a third house sustained exterior damage.
At the time of the fire two of the residents that lived at the homes were able to escape without injury.
Haldimand County Fire Department had five stations assisting to extinguish the fire.
The Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office has been notified.
Disposal of a cigarette is being considered a contributing cause to this fire.
