House Fire In The Blue Mountains

(THE BLUE MOUNTAINS, ONTARIO) Members of the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and investigators from the Ontario Fire Marshal’s (OFM) office are currently at the scene of a house fire which took place on Wednesday in The Blue Mountains.

On the 17th of December 2014 shortly after 1:00 pm, OPP officers along with The Blue Mountains Fire Department were called to a house fire on the 18th Side Road near the 10th Line. A cause of the fire has not yet been determined however investigators with the OFM have discovered a body within the burnt remains of the house.

Identification of the victim has yet to be determined and further information will be released when it becomes available.
