(POINT EDWARD, ON) A 55 year old Point Edward man remains in custody with a Sarnia court date of December 18, 2014 after he was arrested during an incident with Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) that occurred on Ernest Street December 14, 2014 around 1:30 p.m.
What started out as a breach of release call for the Lambton OPP officers deteriorated when the male, Richard BRAMHAM allegedly became hostile toward the OPP officers. The use of a Conducted Energy Weapon (CEW) to affect the arrest of the male resulted in no report of injuries to anyone. The male now faces charges of breaching release conditions.
