(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON.) – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County detachment has charged a 35 year old female with drinking and driving offences after investigating an incident at a Stoney Creek Road, Haldimand County, ON address.
On Sunday March 6th, 2016 at approximately 2:21 pm, a grey 2002 Mercury car entered the ditch on Stoney Creek Road. While the investigating officer was dealing with the driver signs of impairment by alcohol was detected. She was subsequently arrested and breath tests were obtained.
As a result of the investigation Police have charged 35 year old Jennifer HORBATUIK of Hamilton, ON with Care and Control of a Motor Vehicle while impaired by alcohol, Care and Control of a Motor Vehicle with over the legal limit of alcohol, and having care and control of a motor vehicle with liquor readily available. She is to appear in Provincial Court, Cayuga, ON at a later date to answer to the charges.
