(NAPANEE, ON)- Napanee OPP is appealing to the public for assistance in relation to reports of suspicious males driving a white 2002 Chevrolet van with tinted windows and cages in the back (possibly Quebec licence plate of E17HJX).
This morning at approximately 9:30 a.m. a male attended a residence on Ann Street in Napanee claiming to be with the SPCA. The man advised the homeowner that he was there to pick up their dog as a result of a noise complaint. The homeowner asked for identification but was told it was in the van. The suspect male attempted to push by the homeowner to get to the dog but was physically stopped. The suspect then left in the van.
The suspect is described as being native, 6’5” tall, with long dark hair and stubble on his face.
Police also received information that a male in a white van was seen loading a dog into the van on Thomas Street in Deseronto on Monday morning around 5:35 a.m.
