(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Norfolk County Detachment is urging all residents to be extremely vigilant after police were contacted by a concerned homeowner at a Burford Delhi Town Line Road, Windham, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Friday, August 15, 2014, at approximately 4:56 p.m., a concerned homeowner contacted police after two youths were observed walking around their property and then attended the front door of the residence.
Upon speaking to the youths they advised the homeowner that they were on the property conducting a drug search at which time the resident informed both youths that the police were being contacted. Both males subsequently left the property in an unknown direction and were described to police as wearing a hooded sweater.
Police are reminding all residents to contact police immediately if they observe suspicious activity or persons on their property or their neighbour’s property.
