(SOUTH HURON, ON) Two males have been arrested and charged with Break, Enter and Theft by Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) following a string of thefts from a homeowner’s shed.
The victim reported to police his shed located on Babylon Line had been recently targeted. The property owner took a proactive measure and installed surveillance cameras on his property. On June 1, 2013 the property owner checked on his shed and found it had been the target of a break and enter with several bottles of alcohol stolen. Officers were able to identify the youth involved from the June 1st crime after reviewing the video surveillance. The investigation has determined the youth arrived on the property after midnight, forced entry into the shed and made off with some bottles of liquor, beer and gasoline from the fuel pumps located on the property.
As a result, Kyle RYCKMAN, 18, from Bluewater has been charged with Break and Enter and Theft Under $5,000. He has a court date scheduled for the Ontario Court of Justice, Exeter on July 25, 2013.
A 17 year old male from South Huron is facing the same charges. He has a court appearance scheduled for Youth Justice Court, Goderich on July 4, 2013.
