HOME OWNER CONFRONTS MALE DURING BREAK AND ENTER

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment is investigating a Break and Enter at an Argyle Street, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario address.

On Saturday, April 26, 2014 at approximately 12:35 a.m., an unknown suspect attended the residence and gained entry. Once inside, the homeowner heard movement in the residence and subsequently located a male in the kitchen. The male was confronted at which time he fled from the house with the homeowner following.

A Blackberry cellular phone with a blue case was taken from the residence by the unknown suspect who was last seen on Wilson Avenue.

The suspect is being described as a male, 6”, thin build, wearing a hooded sweater with a black jacket and dark pants.

The Norfolk County OPP Detachment is continuing to investigate and is seeking assistance from the public. If anyone has any information regarding this incident, they are being asked to contact the Norfolk County OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
