(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Norfolk County Detachment investigated an incident after being contacted by a concerned homeowner at a Potts Road, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Monday, June 18, 2018 at approximately 11:51 p.m., police were contacted by a homeowner after an unknown male entered their vehicle.
Through the course of investigation, it was determined that an unknown male entered an unlocked vehicle that was parked in the driveway of the residence. The homeowner observed the male and immediately confronted him at which time the male suspect fled. The owner gave chase however was unable to locate the suspect.
Police are reminding all home owners to ensure that all doors on their vehicles are locked and valuables removed.
